10 Green Cars that We Would Love for 2009 Part 1

Without a doubt, 2008 is a historical year in more ways than one. There’s a new President for the US and not to mention the country’s economy has not been shaky since the Great Depression. Aside from that, the recent news in its automotive industry has prompted its automakers to find better ways of improving its cars. The fact is, everybody’s so sick of the bad news and because of that I compiled some of the best cars that you might want to check out for 2009 .

The Audi R8 V12 TDI Concept

Yeah it looks really great and it’s ready to torch the road anytime. However, unlike any of its predecessors, it has an astounding 24 mpg capacity while being able to zoom to 60 miles in only 4 seconds. In short, this car is fast and fuel efficient. That may sound crazy, but yeah, it’s true.

BMW M1 Hommage

The M1 has been a car enthusiast’s dream for decades and to pay homage to this great luxury car, BMW will launch the BMW M1 Hommage. It’s a sexy and solid car if you want to look great in every angle. The best part is, it looks really good for a car that saves so much fuel.

Citroen C-Metisse concept

The French are great at everything, including car making and football. Because of that, this concept car called the Citroen C-Metisse has the potential to become the best green car of the next decade. It’s basically a hybrid diesel car while boasting four scissor doors that can turn all heads at once. In short, it’s one hell of a ride when it comes to looks while boasting of a solid MPG rating.

Ferrari Millechili

Italian cars have been the best in the business for as long as anyone can remember. When it comes to car making in Italy, one name stands out above the rest and that’s Ferrari. On the other hand, the release of the Ferrari Millechili will prove just how much this automaker is serious when it comes to improving its fuel efficiency. Basically, the Milliechili stands for one thousand kilos and that’s because this car weighs only around that much when it starts pounding the pavement. The truth is, the lighter the car the less fuel it will consume and that’s the direction that Ferrari is headed in the coming years.
