I’ve been scouring the world for the best green cars out there. I thought I’d seen enough but when I saw the Venturi Fetish a couple of weeks ago, I was really surprised. Truth is, nothing is permanent in then world of automobiles. If you think that the Tesla Roadster is the only electric vehicle that counts, then you haven’t really seen the Venturi Fetish.

An electric supercar, the Venturi Fetish’s body was designed by renowned designer Sacha Lakic. Basically, this 2000-pound vehicle does not only appeal to brawn, because it’s aesthetically pleasing as well. The great thing about this car isn’t its good looks but what underneath its hood. Capable of generating as much as 300-horsepower, its electric motor is nothing I’ve seen in the past. With a top speed of 100 mph and acceleration of less than 5 seconds, the Venturi Fetish doesn’t look like an electric car to me. Actually it is, the only difference is that it’s one of the best out there.

Just like other electric vehicles, the Venturi Fetish uses lithium-ion batteries that are 770 pounds in weight. Its massive weight is the reason why this battery pack is able to generate that amount of power. Aside from that, its world-class batteries are able to cover as much as 200 miles in one single charge. Right now, the Venturi Fetish is being sold at around 660,000 USD, which is really expensive even for a lot of people who money to spare.
