Volkswagen surely never blows. Just recently, the world-renowned automaker unleashed the Golf Blue-E-Motion. Essentially, it uses an electric motor that offers 115 pound-feet of torque. Aside from that, it runs in a bunch of power-saving lithium-ion batteries that are durable and dependable.

When it comes to performance, the Golf Blue-E-Motion can accelerate from 0-62 mph in just 11.8 seconds. Its top speed meanwhile is measured at 86 mph while having a total range of 90 miles in between charges.
