If you don’t want to use its topnotch micro-hybrid drive system, you can always turn it off by deactivating a switch on the center console.

83 MPG sounds impossible right? Well, Volkswagen just recently launched the Golf TDI Hybrid and guess what? It has an MPG rating of 83 while emitting less than 90 g/kg of CO2.

At the cored of the Golf TDI Hybrid is a 1.2-liter three-cylinder common rail TDI Diesel engine that can generate 75 horsepower and 132 lb-fit of torque. To make it even more efficient, it works with an electric motor that makes the Golf TDI Hybrid a complete hybrid.

The GEM e4 electric car has a maximum speed of 28 mph with an astonishing MPG score of 450. When it comes to charging, you need 6-8 hours to make sure that its batteries have enough power in them. Once fully charged, it can cover at least 30 miles.
