A battery-powered van. If you can describe the Mercedes Vito in a nutshell, it’s essentially a van that runs on batteries. This year, it’s going to be delivered to 20 customers who wish to transport stuff to environment-sensitive zones.
As a bettery-operated vehicle, the Mercedes Vito uses a powerful lithium-ion technology that Mercedes engineers have developed. Basically, its lithium-ion batteries have an operating voltage of 400 volts and a 130-kilometer range. Its electric motor meanwhile has a peak output of 90 KW.
