When you look under the hood, you’ll see that the Touareg Hybrid has a 3.3-liter supercharged V6 engine that is supercharged by petrol engine. Once this engine is activated, it can generate as much as 265 ft-lbs of torque. As a hybrid vehicle meanwhile, it also has an electric motor that can work independently from the combustion engine.
Fact is, the Touareg Hybrid can go as fast as 30 mph on electric power alone. If you combined with its combustion engine, this vehicle can reach an MPG rating of 38.1 and top speeds of 149 mph.
