Volkswagen clearly stepped it up as far as green cars is concerned when it introduced the Eos Blue Motion. Featuring a highly-efficient 1.4-liter engine, this car is now available in both S and SE trims while being priced at 20,695 and 22,000 USD respectively.
In spite of its rather small size, the Eos Blue Motion´s engine can still generate 122 horsepower and 147 ft./lbs. of torque respectively. With its superior engineering, this car can actually extend a gallon of fuel to an astonishing 46 miles. On top of that, it’s specially-designed engine reduces carbon dioxide emission dramatically as well.
As far as acceleration is concerned, the Eos Blue Motion can go from 0-62 miles in just 10 seconds. Though not pretty fast, it still has a decent top speed pegged at 121 mph.
